ALOHA ! CNH Builders Club Advisors

First, I would like to congratulate the following new Chartered Builders Clubs.

Chartered in Division 37
King Middle School

WELCOME TO THE CNH DISTRICT SPONSORED LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Hope you had a great year in your divisions and that you are happy with the success of your Builders Clubs and their Service to School, Community and Nation, I am very proud of the service that the Builders Club's performed in our district.

I want to thank you for all you have done in the way of promoting the Builders Club program within our district and assisting me with the problems that needed attention.

CNH District chartered 16 new Builders Clubs, the largest number of charters for any one district in Kiwanis International this year. The Dues and Registration Invoices are being mailed out the end of September to the Sponsoring Kiwanis Clubs and the amount is $150.00 per Builders Club they sponsor and the dues must be paid no later than Dec 1, 2009. Please check with your Kiwanis Advisor to make sure this is being done.

I would like you to take a trip with me, please go to the CNH Builders Club Website ... www.cnhbuilders.org ... click links on the left ... when the links page opens scroll to other links at the bottom ... click on the ICON for Kids Flower Foundation.

This is a new fundraiser for Builders Club's to put money back in their clubs and make a donation to the Rose Float at the same time. Since Builders Club members do not have the opportunity (unless they were 13 years old) to decorate the Rose Floats, this is away they can help support the Kiwanis International Rose Float as a Kiwanis Family Project... at the bottom of the page are the files that will be used ... this is a round the year fundraiser for Builders Club and the Rose Float Club.

Just think teachers could order flowers any time, Corporate Offices, Valentine's Day (sell single stem Roses to students for $4 and still make money) Mother's Day.

Please let me know your thoughts and other ways we can promote it with in the district, I see Rose Wars between schools.

Yours is a heady task, but you're not alone. You have many resources at your disposal. These include:
